Since I am specialized in animal anatomy and always looking to expand both my scientific understanding as my visualization skills, I pick up special projects on a regular base. One of my biggest projects to date is an almost complete anatomical rat. I now have a dedicated website for it, which is still a work in progress

A more recent project is the octopus Eledone cirrhosa. The fact that it became that species is pure coincident: I asked fishermen in Urk, a fishing village near where I live, to keep a complete octopus for me. They have them as by-catch and if they bring them on land most of the time the internal organs are removed.
So it turned out to be an Eledone cirrhosa or curled octopus. It’s a small octopus that is found in the northeast Atlantic and the North-sea.
I don’t have a dedicated website for it yet, but you can see the collection of 3d anatomical models of this octopus on my sketchfab portfolio
